Creating the Perfect Atmosphere for a Bath and Wine
There is nothing quite like a bath and wine when the world gets you down. However, you simply can’t jump into this without a plan. Otherwise, you may only increase your agitation.
Picking a Wine
Make sure that you pick a wine that you like to drink. That may seem like an obvious mistake, but too many people simply grab a bottle of wine off the shelf and find out they hate it later.
Attend a wine tasting event or ask your local winery for wine samples. Most will gladly give out multiple samples in order to entice a purchase.
Kicking Out the Family
Okay, the subhead here is just a joke, but many a wine and bath have been ruined by screaming kids or a confused husband looking for his drill. Why the heck would you know where his drill is? You’re trying to relax over here!
Bribe the husband with cash for pizza and have him take the kids out for a few hours. That should give you plenty of time.
Preparing the Water
No bath and wine is complete without a few simple relaxing additives included in the water. While Teri Hatcher swears by full body wine baths, most of us can’t afford something that glorious.
Add any of these substances to your bath water to make it even more relaxing:
- Green Tea
- Epsom Salt
Setting the Mood
Now that you have the perfect wine and a bathtub filled with relaxing warm water, it’s time to set the mood. Set up a CD player or mp3 player on a counter and turn on the piano work of Chopin.
Now, light the bathroom with carefully placed candles and turn off the lights. Take off your clothes, pour a glass of wine, and soak.
Doesn’t that feel amazing? Of course it does.
If a bath and wine sounds truly tantalizing, contact us as soon as possible. We can help set you up with some bathtub additives that will make your bath soothing and healthy.
